Master Painters Australia (NSW and ACT) proudly administers the Awards for Excellence, celebrating the craft, professionalism and integrity of our industry. Each year we recognise standout painting and decorating projects—residential, commercial, industrial and strata—that demonstrate best-practice surface preparation, technical skill, durable finishes, safety and customer care.

Beyond trophies, the Awards for Excellence help raise standards, build client confidence and showcase the innovation, sustainability and heritage expertise that set our members apart. Entry Details

The Master Painters Australia (NSW and ACT) Awards for Excellence are open to contractors and third-party nominators, with eligibility focused on projects completed between 1 January and 31 December 2025.

Independent judges assess entries using detailed documentation and, where required, site inspections, supported by clear permission from property owners and quality before-during-after photography.

Community Service Projects

This category celebrates Master Painters NSW & ACT members who give back; teams that donate time, skills and materials to charity or community initiatives in partnership with Master Painters.

Entries are judged on ongoing support and real, measurable impact: show how your work improved community spaces or outcomes, how consistently you’ve contributed during the eligibility period, and how you’ve collaborated with Master Painters to deliver safe, professional results that reflect well on our industry.

Customer Service

Great painting goes beyond a flawless finish. It’s the way you look after your customers from the first call to the final handover. The Customer Service Award recognises businesses that embed service excellence into everyday practice.

Entries are judged on documented evidence against the 10 Keys of Customer Service, including product and service information, telephone service, taking orders, customer follow-up, billing and managing payments, visiting the customer, complaints management, and service culture.

Gala Dinner Tickets

Join us for the industry’s night of nights as we celebrate the Master Painters Awards for Excellence with a formal Gala Dinner and live awards presentation. It’s all set to be an evening of recognition, networking and inspiration for contractors, apprentices, clients and suppliers alike.

Held in late May 2026 (venue to be announced), the Gala brings together NSW and ACT’s leading painting and decorating professionals to applaud this year’s finalists and winners. Expect a polished evening, great company and plenty of opportunities to connect with peers, meet the judges and showcase your team’s achievements.
